Supplierswitch is owned by Utilyx, the UK’s leading provider of energy procurement services. The company is one of the largest buyers of power and gas in the UK and works with five of the UK’s seven largest food retailers, as well as some of the largest names in the pharmaceutical, financial and other sectors

As a Utilyx group company supplierswitch can draw on the expertise and experience of the UK’s leading energy procurement consultant and our heritage means we are passionate about what we do. Our parent was the first energy consultant to be authorised and regulated by the UK’s Financial Services Authority and because of this regulation you can rely on the integrity of our team in ensuring you get the very best deal.

How we make our money

Unlike many energy consultants who propose a “free” service and charge hidden commissions or who favour one energy supplier over another, supplierswitch receives a transparent flat rate commission from the energy supplier when a customer chooses to switch to them.

This means that the customer knows what they are paying up front and that our commercial relationships have no bearing on the outcome of any contract comparison. This commission is generally a small fraction of the savings our customers make by using our service.
